This combination medicine can be used to treat many different bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin, teeth, joints, and bones.
Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.
Side Effects: Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea
Active Ingredient: Amoxicillin and Clavulanate pottasium
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acuclav 625 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Aquaclav makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
Acuclav 625 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aquaclav 625 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
