HOW D KOFF SYRUP WORKS
D Koff Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, which relieves dry cough. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough center in the brain.

2-6 years - Half teaspoonful (2.5 mL)
6-12 years - One teaspoonful (5 mL)
Adults:

These doses are to be taken three times a day or as directed by the physician.
OVERDOSAGE:
If the drug has been taken recently by mouth, the stomach should be emptied by aspiration and lavage. The patient should be kept quiet to minimise the excitation which occurs particularly in children. Convulsion and marked central nervous system stimulation should preferably be treated with diazepam or phenobarbitone intramuscularly.
